Language Enrichment Training

This English training programme focused on strengthening grammar and vocabulary through fun, interactive activities, storytelling, and creative writing. It also emphasized teaching grammar in context, integrating technology in English classrooms, and supporting varied learning needs. Teachers were guided to design engaging, age-appropriate lessons. The programme was conducted by Ms. Gunjan, a trained educator and ELT professional with over 20 years of experience in English language teaching, curriculum design, and teacher training. She holds a Master’s in English and Education and has served on editorial panels for NCERT and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It was co-facilitated by Ms. Nikita Basu, a seasoned freelance trainer and NEP-aligned content developer with extensive experience in digital learning modules.

Digital Tools for Effective Classroom Teaching

The ICT Training Programme focused on strengthening teachers’ digital competencies and integrating technology effectively into classroom teaching. The programme included hands-on training in MS Excel, MS Access, Scratch, and Animate CC, enabling teachers to use digital tools confidently. Emphasis was placed on practical classroom applications, digital pedagogy, and future-ready skills to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. The programme was facilitated by Mr. Devendra Singh, an experienced educator and digital learning specialist with over 25 years of IT expertise.

Strengthening Mathematical Concepts

The Mathematics Teaching Training Programme was designed to strengthen teachers’ conceptual understanding and enhance effective classroom practices. The sessions covered a wide range of key mathematical topics, including decimals, factors and multiples, measurement, fractions, construction of triangles and quadrilaterals, symmetry, properties of different types of parallelograms, and the volume and surface area of solids.The programme emphasized addressing diverse learning needs, improving problem-solving and analytical skills, and making mathematics engaging, logical, and meaningful for learners. The programme was facilitated by Mr. Divya Bansal, a senior mathematics educator with over 25 years of experience in teaching, curriculum design, and teacher development, and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Thakur, a nationally renowned mathematics expert, curriculum leader, and resource person with extensive experience in teacher training, assessment design, and academic leadership at national institutions.

Effective Hindi Teaching Strategies

The Hindi Language Teaching Training Programme was conducted to strengthen teachers’ conceptual understanding of Hindi grammar and to enhance effective classroom practices across primary and middle grades. Teachers were guided to link grammar instruction with everyday language usage, thereby improving students’ reading, writing, expression, and overall language confidence. The training supported systematic lesson planning and enabled teachers to address foundational and advanced language needs effectively.

The programme was facilitated by Dr. Shiksha and Ms. Shubha Malviya, both highly experienced Hindi educators and national-level trainers. Dr. Shiksha is a senior Hindi teacher, award-winning educator, and author with over two decades of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and teacher training.

Innovative Approaches to Teaching Science

The Science Teaching Training Programme was designed to strengthen teachers’ conceptual clarity and enhance classroom effectiveness through activity-based and experiential learning. The sessions focused on simplifying complex scientific concepts using hands-on activities, low-cost teaching models, and age-appropriate classroom strategies. Key topics included cell structure and microorganisms; light concepts such as reflection, refraction, dispersion, and image formation by lenses; the solar system and constellations; electrolysis and electroplating; chemical properties of metals and non-metals; and selected EVS topics such as birds, body parts, and adaptations. The training was facilitated by Ms. Kshma Swarnkar, an international educator and Google-certified Ph.D. with expertise in activity-based science pedagogy and EdTech integration, and Ms. Aparna Awasthi, an experienced CBSE Master Trainer.

Strengthening Social Science Pedagogy

The Social Science Teaching Training Programme focused on strengthening conceptual understanding and enhancing classroom delivery of key topics such as latitudes and longitudes, atmospheric pressure belts, judiciary, important dates and events, and local self-government. The programme emphasized activity-based learning, real-life connections, and learner-centred strategies to make Social Science engaging and meaningful. The programme was facilitated by Ms. Kanchan Pandey, an AIEF-certified master trainer.

Teaching Practices Aligned with NEP 2020

The NEP-Based Teaching Training Programme focused on aligning classroom practices with the vision and principles of the National Education Policy 2020. The programme emphasized inclusive and student-centred learning to ensure quality education for every learner, while promoting holistic development and 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, problem-solving, and life skills. The programme was facilitated by Mr. Sadan Kumar Sinha, a senior education expert with over four decades of experience in curriculum development, educational publishing, and teacher training.

Teacher Well-being and Effective Classroom Practices

The Effective Teaching Methods programme was designed to enhance teachers’ professional effectiveness by fostering emotional well-being and a positive mindset. The session focused on emotional healing, self-awareness, and cultivating gratitude to build a supportive and engaging classroom environment. The programme emphasized the role of teacher’s mindset in effective pedagogy and student motivation. The session was conducted by Mr. Surya, an accomplished educator, mentor, and leadership coach with extensive experience in guiding learners and educators towards excellence.
