OVERVIEW:

The purpose of the referral program is to provide a reward to attract qualified applicants (we are open for teachers, coordinators, leaders and any other domain in academic and admin field) to our organization. We are looking for people who are innovative, reflective, hard-working, and who are committed to student-focused results and personal/professional development.


SCOPE:

This policy is applicable to for the staff of NLK Group of Schools: Preschool and Grade school teachers
**This policy is not valid for multi-tasking staff, front office, HR, branch heads, QAID team, Finance Department and the management.
** You must be employed within the NLK family at the time the incentive is to be paid out.


GUIDELINES:

Kindly go through the important points:
• Applies only to the referral of candidate who are hired as full time in the organization. It does not apply to candidates who are hired as part time or distance working.
• The referral incentive will only be given to the staff member if the candidate is hired (terms and conditions follows). All the information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential. The organisation owns no explanation to the decision of hiring.
• Once a candidate is hired and completes 3 working months (NLK Group of Schools Teachers) and 6 working months (NLK Academy Teachers + Coordinators + Leaders) of service with the organization, the employee responsible for the referral can claim the referral incentive. In the term of 3 months/6 months, the candidate should not violate any rules and regulations of the organisation.
• The onus of claiming the referral incentive is on the employee who has referred the candidate. In order to claim the incentive, they should send claim requests by email to hr.nlkgroup@gmail.com.
• The hired candidate shall not be eligible for June salary (summer break) as per the laid guidelines of NLK, also the period of summer break will not be counted in the 3 months/6 months’ calendar of working.
• The staff cannot refer themselves as referral.
• The candidates who have already worked at NLK for any period of time, will not be considered as referrals.
• If more than one person refers a candidate to, the referral bonus incentive will be awarded to the first official referral received, as noted by the date/time the referral form was submitted.
• There is no limit to the number of referral incentive that an individual may receive.
• The organisation reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral scheme at any time without prior notice.
• Any disputes or interpretations of this referral program will be handled through Human Resources.
• The joining date of the candidate will be considered as his/her date of joining. If the candidate joining date is 2nd April 2025, then it will be considered in the session 2025-26 count.
• If we have already made contact with a candidate who is referred, that referral will not be eligible for an incentive. Please do not refer the candidate if you are aware that he/she already has an application on file with NLK.
• Once your candidate referral is submitted, someone from the Human Resources will contact your candidate regarding NLK opportunities.

1How do I know if my teacher candidate referral was received?
You will receive a WhatsApp confirmation after you have submitted your referral.
2What if I don’t know if my teacher candidate has the required qualification to teach?
Submit your referral anyway! The HR team will determine the candidate’s eligibility.
3What if my teacher candidate has questions about the Referral Program that I cannot answer?
If your referred candidate has questions, please ask him/her to contact HR at 7571852575 or email hr.nlkgroup@gmail.com.
4Is there a limit to the number of candidates that I may refer?
There is no limit to the number of candidates that you refer.
