We encourage our students to develop a love of learning for technology and achieve to the best of their ability…
STEAM (Coding & Robotics): Creya Learning Workshop
STEAM learning program helps young students build empathy for the world around them through the Design Thinking Framework.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) development program was conducted at NLK Academy in which a group of teachers from each branch actively participated.
The teachers were given training and guidance on Engineering Design, Coding and IoT. The resource person as well as the teachers shared ideas on how to engage students in the classrooms and how to make learning enjoyable and interactive. Teachers learnt how to apply an interdisciplinary approach to the process of students' learning and why IBL (Inquiry Based Learning) is required by 21st century learners. The overall idea of STEAM development program was to incorporate the concepts of academic knowledge to solve real world problems.
STEAM is our educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!
