Overview:

The purpose of the referral program is to provide a reward to attract qualified applicants (we are open for teachers, coordinators, leaders and any other domain in academic and admin field) to our organization. We are looking for people who are innovative, reflective, hard-working, and who are committed to student-focused results and personal/professional development.

Scope:

This policy is applicable for the staff of NLK Group of Schools: Preschool and Grade school teachers.
** This policy is not valid for multi-tasking staff, front office, HR, branch heads, QAID team, Finance Department and the management.
** The employee must be in active employment with the NLK Group of Schools at the time of referral incentive payout. Employees serving a notice period at the time of disbursement will not be eligible for the referral incentive.

Guidelines:

Kindly go through the important points:
a) Applies only to the referral of candidate who are hired as full time in the organization. It does not apply to candidates who are hired as part time. remote/distance workers.
b) The referral incentive will only be given to the staff member if the candidate is hired (terms and conditions follows). All the information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential. The organisation owns no explanation to the decision of hiring.
c) Once a candidate is hired and successfully completes the probation period (for NLK Group of Schools Teachers) or 6 working months of continuous service (for NLK Academy Teachers, Coordinators, and Leaders), the referring employee shall be eligible to claim the referral incentive, subject to the candidate’s adherence to all organizational rules and regulations during this period.
d) The onus of claiming the referral incentive is on the employee who has referred the candidate. In order to claim the incentive, they should send claim requests by email to hr.nlkgroup@gmail.com.
e) The hired candidate shall not be eligible for June salary as per the laid-down guidelines of NLK. Furthermore, this period shall be excluded from the calculation of the probation period / 6-month service duration for referral incentive eligibility.
f) The staff cannot refer themselves as referral.
g) The candidates who have already worked at NLK for any period of time, will not be considered as referrals.
h) If more than one person refers a candidate, the referral bonus incentive will be awarded to the first official referral received, as noted by the date/time the referral form was submitted.
i) There is no limit to the number of referral incentive that an individual may receive.
j) The organisation reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral scheme at any time without prior notice.
k) Any disputes or interpretations of this referral program will be handled through Human Resources.
l) The joining date of the candidate will be considered as his/her date of joining. If the candidate’s joining date is 2nd April 2025, then it will be considered in the session 2025-26 count.
m) If we have already made contact with a candidate who is referred, that referral will not be eligible for an incentive. Please do not refer the candidate if you are aware that he/she already has an application on file with NLK.
n) Once your candidate referral is submitted, someone from the Human Resources will contact your candidate regarding NLK opportunities.

Incentive:

Employees who refer an external candidate for employment are eligible to receive an incentive as follows:

The staff member who achieves more than three successful referrals and records the highest number of referrals within the NLK Group of Schools during the academic session (e.g., for 2024–25, from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025) shall be eligible for an additional bonus incentive of ₹2,500, payable at the end of the session.
The incentive amount will be credited in the bank account of the person.

How to Refer?

Referral submissions must be made through the Referral Form [SA1.1], available here. The referring employee must also clearly specify their relationship with the candidate at the time of submission.

1. How do I know if my teacher candidate referral was received?

You will receive a WhatsApp confirmation after you have submitted your referral.

Submit your referral anyway! The HR team will determine the candidate’s eligibility.

If your referred candidate has questions, please ask him/her to contact HR at 7571852575 or email hr.nlkgroup@gmail.com.

There is no limit to the number of candidates that you refer.

Non-Compliance & Ethical Standards:

All employees participating in the Employee Referral Program are expected to maintain honesty, transparency, and professionalism throughout the process. Any deviation from these standards will be treated as non-compliance.

Non-compliance includes, but is not limited to:

• Misrepresentation: Sharing false, incomplete, or misleading information about a referred candidate.
• Undue Influence: Attempting to influence HR, hiring managers, or interview panel members to favour a candidate.
• Conflict of Interest: Not disclosing any personal or financial relationship with the referred candidate.
• Unethical Practices: Engaging in actions such as accepting money or favours from candidates, pressuring individuals to apply, or misusing the referral program.

Action on Non-Compliance:

Any such instances will be reviewed, and appropriate action will be taken, which may include:
• Disqualification from the referral program
• Withholding of referral incentives
• Further disciplinary action, if required
