JODO GYAN WORKSHOP
"All children can learn Mathematics with understanding and happiness." Keeping this idea in mind, teachers of NLK Group of Schools attended Jodo Gyan Workshop on 13th and 14th February, 2023 in Delhi. The teachers were introduced to the innovative methods in Mathematics. The methods were based on a simple premise that learners learn when they are engaged in fun activities which are also meaningful.
All the trainers gave the teachers understanding that foundational numeracy develops through a process of engagement in purposeful tasks and activities. Some of the activities worth discussing were Ganit Rack, Billi ke Bacche, Number Patti, Story of Amu and Math Mat. The tips and tricks shared by the trainers were a great help as teachers will now incorporate the same in the lesson plans in order to make the classes even more effective.
