An Ode To Motherhood: The Mother’s Day Celebration at our School
“Motherhood: All love begins and ends there.” – Robert Browning.”
On Mother’s Day, our school was awash in a sea of pink, as both mothers and children arrived dressed in their finest pink attire. The theme was a celebration of love and gratitude for the mothers in our lives, a sentiment that was palpable in the love and emotion that filled the air. The day was filled with performances by the children, who sang, danced, and expressed their emotions by thanking their mothers. They even prepared cards as tokens of their love for their mothers. Many mothers were moved to tears by the heartfelt performances.
Our principal, Ms. Ruma Chaturvedi, was also present at the gathering. She expressed her gratitude to the mothers for their overwhelming response and emphasized the pivotal role that mothers play in shaping the growth, personality, and upbringing of a child. She shared her beautiful memories of motherhood and imparted invaluable tips on how to make the most of it.
Later, the mothers also participated in various games and did a ramp walk with their little kiddos. The event was a resounding success, with a convivial atmosphere that was the apotheosis of the spirit of Mother’s Day.
