  • THE BEGINNING

    NLK Group of schools was founded by Late Sri Hira Lal Khanna. He was an eminent industrialist, philanthropist and scholar who had deep concern for the lower sections of the society and desired to bring advanced education within their reach.

    Late Hira Lal Khanna Ji (Father-in-law of Mrs. Pushpa Khanna Ji) established Kanpur High School for Boys

  • EMPOWERING GIRLS

    The Late Pushpa Khanna Ji was born in Delhi on 3rd March, 1925 to Har Kishore Kapoor and Jamuna Devi Kapoor. She married Shri Nandlal Khanna Ji in the year 1939 at the young age of 14. Her father-in-law encouraged her to study further and so she completed her Masters' degree in Hindi while mothering two wonderful young kids at the same time.
    Always keen to do something new, she opened a Home Science institute for women in Kanpur in the 1960s on the model of Lady Irwin College in New Delhi. Espousing the cause of women empowerment, this institute made a lot of women self reliant.

    Late Hira lal Khanna Ji (Father-in-law of Mrs. Pushpa Khanna Ji) established Kanpur High School for Girls.

    Mrs. Pushpa Khanna started Shri Nand Lal Khanna Vidya Mandir at Vishnupuri in memory of her husband Late Shri Nandlal Khanna Ji with just seven students on roll.

  • EDUCATING FOR COMPLEXITY

    The world has changed enormously since Wendy High School, our first ICSE affiliated school welcomed its first student in 1975, but its mission to attract and develop exceptional students and teachers from all backgrounds to serve a meritocratic India remains as vital now as it was then. With scholarships and bursaries available to support almost half of our students, we aim to reduce, as far as possible, any financial barriers to admission.

    NLK Inter college was set up with the aim to cater the lower sections of the society and provide them with best educational facilities. We understand the individuality of a student and adopt different approaches to make learning fun and exciting for them.

  • SPECIAL CHILDREN ARE SPECIAL

    Pushpa Khanna Memorial Centre, a rehabilitation Centre for children with special needs, was established by NLK Group of Schools in the year 2017. The centre runs in fond memory of the great visionary and founder of NLK Group, Lt. Smt Pushpa Khanna Ji. The centre is run by Ms. Ruma Chaturvedi (C.S.,L.L.B) Director, Pushpa Khanna Memorial Centre, being mother of a special child herself, she trained herself in the field of special education and pioneered the task of bringing the best international practices to Kanpur. She is a certified PEERS social skill trainer and a certified Autism Movement Therapy trainer.

    Shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. NLK’s Archies Kids, Kanpur, we aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds. Our distinctive academic programmes and innovative teaching methodologies encourage students to develop critical-thinking and learn through inquiry and reason, to exchange thoughts and ideas, to develop key personal and social values, to take ownership of his/ her choices.

  • WHERE SKY IS THE LIMIT

    The vast campus NLK Academy has been established in lieu of Krishna Girls College of Engineering which was closed for the past six years. The construction of NLK Academy finally started in 2019. It was inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Founders Day i.e. 3rd March, 2020. At NLK Academy, we adopt a holistic way of learning for a better learning experience for our students. This is our first CBSE Affiliated School with world class facilities at minimal cost.

    PKMC New Branch @ Khalasi Line, Kanpur is an initiative to provide the best therapies at reasonable prices, so that we are able to reach out to the maximum masses and make a positive difference in the lives of many special needs children and young adults.
